May 15th – May 25th, 2024

May 15- We will begin our Exciting Spring Canadian Classic Holiday by travelling to our nights destination at Quebec’s Hotel Classique 800-463-1885

May 16-  Our Travels will take us to Morrisburg Ontario to our lovely nights accommodations MacIntosh Inn 613-543-5788. We will attend the very popular Upper Canada Playhouse featuring “Opry Gold” Hits of the Queens and Kings of Country Music.

May 17- This morning we will visit Upper Canada Village before driving to our Nations Capital for two nights stay at the ideally located Cartier Hotel 613-236-5000. A wonderful way to begin our Ottawa visit will be to enjoy a leisurely cruise on the Historical Rideau Canal.

May 18- We will begin our exciting day by welcoming our very informative Ottawa step on guide – for a very interesting city tour. This afternoon you will have leisure time to visit the Tulip Festival Headquarters at Commissioners Park, and stroll amongst thousands of colorful Tulips. We will enjoy numerous displays and musical entertainment making this a perfect Tulip Day! Enjoying the numerous shops and restaurants at the renowned Byward Market plus joining Nancy for an evening stroll for photo opportunities of the Parliament Buildings and Rideau Canal will be a nice closure to our Ottawa’s visit.

May 19- Following a delicious breakfast we will travel to Peterborough – the home of the amazing “Canadian Canoe Museum” After our Museum tour, we will thoroughly enjoy a riverboat cruise on the Trent- Severn Waterway, and be amazed of the 118 year old lock system, the first traditional flood lock raises us 12 feet, to the highlight of out trip. Where we go up and over the Peterborough Liftlock which is the world’s highest hydraulic Liftlock which lifts 65 feet or 19.8m above the city! Tonight’s accommodations at Holiday Inn Waterfront 705-743-1144.

May 20- Our Travels will take us to another of Canada’s Iconic attractions “Niagara Falls”. Our home for two nights will be at the ideally located Howard Johnson 905-357-4040. There will be photo opportunities of the famous Falls  plus strolling throughout the Flora Showcase lush garden. You may wish to have a closer view of the Famous Falls by enjoying a thrilling experience on the Hornblower Niagara Cruise! This is a must thing to do!

May 21-  Today can be an optional day to relax or join us this morning and travel throughout prestigious Vineyards to nearby Niagara -on-the-Lake– a quaint town filled with numerous boutiques, Floral displays and restaurants. We will make an enjoyable visit to the renowned award winning Inniskillin Winery before having photo opportunities of the Niagara Falls “Floral Clock”. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to explore fun filled Clifton Hill St., known for numerous attractions, shops and restaurants. This evening we will enjoy the very impressive Skylon Revolving Dining Room for a delicious served meal with spectacular views. This will be a delightful way to end our visit in this exciting city.

May 22- This morning we will visit Canada’s largest city Toronto. Viewing the city from the top of the CN Tower is a must, however (optional). We will continue East to our nights accommodations at Gananoque Holiday Express 613-382-8338 – For those Interested you may want to try your luck at the Thousand Island Casino!

May 23- A beautiful way to begin our day is by visiting nearby Rockport and cruise amongst “Millionaire Row” throughout the renowned Thousand’s Island on a double decker boat. Following an informative and delightful cruise we will continue onto Montreal for sight seeing and visit Montreal’s “Old Historic District”. Tonight’s accommodations will be in Drummondville’s Comfort Inn 819-477-4000.                                                                  

 May 24- Following breakfast we will continue on to “Old Quebec City” for an informative city tour and have the opportunity to stroll along cobblestone streets to numerous quaint shops and boutiques. Departing charming Quebec City we will travel to our nights accommodation at Riviere-du-Loup Hotel Universal 800-265-0072. Where we will enjoy a delicious Farewell meal.

May 25- Returning home with wonderful memories from a Classic Canadian Holiday making us proud to be a Canadian!
