August 19- Our delightful Summer Holiday will begin by travelling to our neighboring province’s to enjoy lunch at the popular Masstown Market before journing onto Annapolis Valley – Upon arrival we will welcome our Dear Ruth Selby for an informative tour of the Historical Grand Pre National Park plus area before enjoying a delicious Lobster Supper (Other alternatives will be offered) at the very popular and picturesque “Halls Harbour” Lobster Pound & Restaurant. Our day will end at the very comfortable Slumber Inn 902-681-5000.

August 20-   Following breakfast we will travel throughout scenic Annapolis Valley – enjoying numerous small communities, stately homes and farmlands to the picturesque town of Digby – known worldwide for their famous Digby Scallops and lobster fishing fleet – bring your camera, to capture a picture of the colorful fishing boats in the harbour and sample scallops at one of  the many restaurants on Main St overlooking the famous harbour. Following lunch and enjoying numerous unique stores on Main St we will travel to the site of Maude Lewis home before we travel to Church Point to visit Eglise Sainte – Marie Church – A historic wooden church believed to be largest in North America – that has been saved from demolition thanks to an anonymous 10 million generous donation. Tonight’s accommodation at Yarmouth’s Rodd Grand Hotel 902-742-2446 conveniently located on Main street near numerous restaurants and more unique stores.

August 21- Following our hearty breakfast – We will depart Yarmouth at 9:30 am on the CAT for a 3 ½ hour cruise to Bar Harbour! Upon arrival we will have the opportunity to enjoy the numerous restaurants and shops before climbing Acadia’s National Park “Cadillac Mountain” United States highest point on the East Coast for spectacular view. Tonight’s accommodations is at Bangor, Comfort Inn  207-990-0888.                                                               

 August 22-  Following our delicious hearty breakfast we will say “All Aboard” as we enjoy a very scenic “Downeast Scenic Railroad Ride” – The beautifully restored passenger train with vintage locomotives and coaches offers a 12 mile round trip train ride from Hancock Maine through Ellsworth Falls.  Following our most enjoyable Train Ride we will begin to journey home with super memories of a perfect Summer Holiday.
