August 16 – Exploring our own province is always a treat, to learn of the numerous resources , diversity and beauty makes this tour one of the very best I can offer. We will begin our interesting Summer holiday by travelling on highway 115 to Saint-Antoine for delicious biscuits/ strawberries coffee break at the impressive Paysan Restaurant also the home of our first Acadian Premier, a photo opportunity of Louie J Robichaud impressive statue will be offered. Continuing throughout beautiful farmlands and along Bouctouche River towards Scenic Sainte-Marie-de-Kent will give you an excellent opportunity to witness some of New Brunswick’s beauty. An delightful lunch will be offered to you at the elegant Miramichi Rodds Hotel located on the banks of the mighty Miramichi River. Following lunch we will travel on highway 134 enjoying many small well maintained communities. Stopping occasionally for comfort and photo stops towards our two night stay at Caraquet’s modern Super 8 located on the shores of Chaleur Bay-506-727-0888.

August 17- An exciting day has been arranged for you! We will travel to the most Northern tip of our charming province and visit Miscou Island, noting the importance of peat moss and fishing Industry, climbing the 36’ Miscou Island Lighthouse and gift shop before another delightful lunch at the very popular The “ Light keepers Café”. We will return to Caraquet and enjoy our afternoon visit as we step back in time at the very popular Acadian Historic Village plus enjoy a Acadian Traditional meal. . This has been a great New Brunswick Day.

August 18- Following Breakfast we will enjoy a picturesque drive on highway 11 to Bathurst to visit Bathurst impressive waterfront and light browsing in their numerous boutiques. Continuing onward to Campbellton to witness the worlds largest Salmon and comfort stop to be followed by an interesting visit to Kedgewick Pioneer Tower. The world’s largest Maple Leaf in Saint Quention will greet us for a photo opportunity! Our travels will take us to Saint Jacques the home of New Brunswick impressive Botanical Gardens- August is a perfect time to stroll amongst the well manicured gardens before travelling on highway 144 to our nights stay at Grand falls Hilltop Motel 506-473-2684 a perfect location overlooking Grand Falls Gorge.

August 19- Following a delicious breakfast we will begin our day by travelling to Florenceville to see Noah’s Ark, Before viewing and walking if desired across the World’s longest covered bridge in Hartland before learning of the importance of potato industry as we enjoy a tour throughout Covered Bridge Potato Chip Company. Departing Hartland we will journey throughout our beautiful province to McAdam where New Brunswick early railroad history begins- A tour throughout McAdam’s Historical Train Station is a New Brunswick’s thing to do. Following our delicious group meal we will be home bound with amazing memories of our amazing province.
