Traveling to Prince Edward Island is always a treat and to visit this charming province, from Tip to Tip is a definite holiday to add to your plans.

September 27- Our holiday will begin by traveling to Charlottetown for a noon hour lunch at the very popular “ Lobster on the Wharf Restaurant” before traveling along the beautiful Point East Costal Drive witnessing miles of red cliffs, unique harbours, beaches and picturesque farmlands. Visiting award winning Rossignol Winery; P.E.I.’s oldest lighthouses in Point Prim, visiting picturesque quant Murray Harbour the home of Cape Bear Lighthouse a three story tapered wooden tower with iron lanterns which received the first distress signal in Canada that the Titanic was sinking. Visiting Panmure Island which offers one of the most popular white sand beaches on Prince Edward Island. You will be mesmerized by the views and water access on both sides of the road. Strolling on Montaque boardwalk gives you a beautiful view of the Marina and harbour. We will end our delightful day and enjoy your nights accommodation in Montaque at the very impressive Lanes Riverhouse Inn 902-838-2433.

September 28- Following a delicious breakfast we will begin our day by visiting an Amish General Store, filled with many hand crafted items We will continue our scenic tour and travel along the scenic shores to another quant Sea Side town Soures- A delightful lunch and experience will be greatly enjoyed at the renowned The Inn at Bay Fortune owned by well known chef Michael Smith. A definite highlight! Visiting East Point Lighthouse will make you feel you’re standing at the edge of the world- A perfect destination to celebrate a beautiful Fall day. Our travels will take us to St. Peter’s Bay where we will learn the importance of the Mussel industry before returning to Charlottetown’s nights accommodation Hampton Inn 902-368-3551

September 29 – We will begin our exciting day and travel on highway 15 to highway 6 taking us along the coastal shores to scenic fishing villages, browsing time at Cavendish Boardwalk and a delicious lunch awaits us at the very popular Island preserves and Gardens located on the peaceful Clyde River. Following lunch we will explore the North Cape Coastal Drive by first visiting “ Bottle Houses” colorful houses made of recycled glass bottles in a seaside setting with charming gardens- located in the unique community of “ Cape Egmont” – Continuing along the Northumberland straight to “West Point” lighthouse- the Islands most tallest and most recognized due to its unique tapered square shape black and white striped paint built in 1875. Visiting O’Leary’s “Canadian Potato Museum“-A true testimony to the importance of the Potato Industry plus the Potato kitchen is a hidden gem. Our day will end at the very impressive 4 star Mill River Resorts 902-859-3555- a delicious meal and leisure evening awaits you!

September 30- Following our delicious breakfast we will continue along the coastal shores to Miminegash to learn about the Irish Moss Industry of the area and perhaps see gathering the moss with horse drawn carts- continuing on to North Cape to the most western point of PEI to witness the importance of wind mills at the very impressive interpretative station. To be followed by a delightful lunch and musical entertainment at the one and only Stompin Tom Museum and Center. Continuing along the coastal drive throughout small seaside villages and beautifully manicured farms and pastures towards P.E.I. second largest city Summerside. To enjoy shopping at the charming Spinners Landing before bedding Farwell to our wonderful Fall holiday.
