Exploring Lac Saint Jean Region Chicoutimi, La Baie, Saguenay River Forge Tadoussac, Whale Watching

Sept 17 – Our exciting holiday will begin by travelling to the Northern tip of our
beautiful province and enjoying magnificent scenery throughout Matapedia Valley
to Matane. A Delicious meal upon arrival will be greatly enjoyed at our Quality

Sept 18 – Catching the early ferry crossing the mighty St. Lawrence River to Baie
Comeau for a delightful lunch at the very impressive Hotel Le Manior – before
departing we will learn more of Baie Comeau industrial importance as we
welcome our informative local guide. Our journey will continue along the scenic
St. Lawrence River to our two night impressive accommodation Hotel Tadoussac
418-235-4420. Located on the shores of St. Lawrence and Saguenay River. The
history of this centuries old building adds a magical atmosphere to this magnificent
place. Upon arrival a delicious French Cuisine Fine Dining meal will be enjoyed.
Sept 19 – Following a delectable French Cuisine Buffet Breakfast and leisure
morning we will prepare ourselves to enjoy a Whale Watching Excursion. Always
amazing to see White Beluga’s frolicking and to witness incredible rugged breath
taking scenery of the Saguenay River. Enjoying the numerous boutiques and
specialty stores plus cafes along Tadoussac Main St. will add to your afternoon.
Sept 20 – Departing following our gourmet breakfast, we will be enthralled by the
magnificent and mighty Laurentain Mountains as we travel on highway 172 to
charming Saguenay and Chicoutimi two beautiful cities within “the Lac-Saint-
Jean Region” we will visit the amazing Le Petite Maison Blanche Museum ( The
little white house)- that survived a major flood in 1996 – the rest of the
neighborhood was washed away while the little white house still stands today.
Another extremely interesting visit will be at the Musee du Fjord – the Fjord
museum raises awareness of the Saguenay Fjord natural and historical heritage.

Sept 21 – Following a delightful breakfast we will depart the charming Saguenay
region and travel on highway 175 to the charming city – Quebec City – Upon
arrival and following lunch you will have time to enjoy the numerous boutiques in
the Vieux Quebec before traveling to Port Joli located on the South Shores of the
majestic St. Lawrence River, the 3000 residents live in the Woodcarving Capital of

Sept 22 – Following another delicious breakfast we will begin to journey home
with spectacular memories of a First Class Holiday!
