AT FALL FOLIAGE TIME
OCTOBER 5 – OCTOBER 8
October 5 –We will begin our scenic Fall Foliage tour by first enjoying coffee and muffins before journing on to Cape Breton- for our two nights accommodations at the Telegraph House 902-295-1100 located in the heart of the quaint village to give you the opportunity to brouse and shop at the many unique boutiques and gift shops. An interesting visit at Baddeck’s Alexander Graham Bell Museum will be greatly enjoyed before a delicious meal in an down home dinning room, with Cape Breton Charm.
October 6 – Following a delicious breakfast we will travel throughout the scenic Margaree Valley along the scenic Margaree River towards Cheticamp and Les Trois Pignon Museum – a true testimony to Acadian’s culture and rug hooking history – A must visit before we begin to climb the mighty Cabot Trail making numerous photo stops and enjoying majestic scenery before a delightful lunch in Pleasant Bay; We will continue on throughout majestic Highlands, capturing breath taking views, unique gift shops, Seaside Villages before returning to our cozy hotel in Baddeck.
October 7 – Following our delicious breakfast we will begin our very interesting day and travel to Coal Mining Historic Town of Glace Bay to visit Cape Breton’s Mine Museum– where you can enjoy underground mine tour (optional). A delicious meal will be enjoyed at Miners Museum Restaurant before traveling along scenic Bras d’or Lakes towards our must stop in Port Hastings “ Strait Area Museum” featuring fabulous Quilts. Our journey will continue on to overnight in New Glasgow at the very impressive Travel Lodge & Suites 902-928-1333
October 8 – Visiting the Museum of Industry is always a must thing to do before returning home from a beautiful Fall Foliage Tour.
