May 12 – We will begin our exciting Canadian Classic Spring Holiday and travel to the impressive Hampton Inn in Levis, Que. 418-839-4888. Upon arrival a group meal will be enjoyed.
May 13 – Following breakfast we will cross “ Pierre Laporte Bridge” and travel on Highway “40”, making comfort stops to our Country’s National Capital. Our home for the next three nights at the ideally located Cartier Hotel & House Keeping Suites 613-236-5000.
May 14 – We will begin our exciting Ottawa day with an informative morning city tour with Ottawa’s city step-on-guide. We will celebrate Ottawa’s “Diamond Jubilee” Tulip Festival by strolling throughout Tulip Festival Headquarters at Commissioner’s Park witnessing numerous International Exhibits, Tulip displays, musical performers and entertainment. To complete our day we will enjoy a short drive to nearby Carp to visit the unique historical site “Diefenbunker” a four story 300 room, 100,000 square foot underground bunker.
May 15 – This morning scheduled tours throughout our Parliament
Building (West Wing) and Canada’s renowned War Museum has been arranged for you. Time will be allowed for you to enjoy the very popular Byward Market and impressive Rideau Center. Another unique way to discover Ottawa is to enjoy our delightful cruise on the Rideau Canal which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. A perfect closure to our Nations Capital visit.
May 16 – Saying farewell to Ottawa; we will travel to our Canada’s Largest city “Toronto”, Viewing the city from the Top of CN Tower is a must (optional)- our journeys will continue on to another Canadian Icon – Niagara Falls! Our home for the next three nights at Howard Johnson’s 905-357-4040.
May 17 – Our exciting day will begin by viewing the magnificent and famous Niagara Falls. For a closer experience you may wish to embark on the Hornblower Niagara Cruises (Formally Maid of the Mist). Visiting “Floral Showhouse”- a garden oasis, plus enjoying the Life on Display miniature village is a must “Niagara Falls” thing to do. Remainder of the day will be yours to enjoy the famous fun filled Clifton Hill St. filled with many attractions and restaurants.
May 18 – Our Niagara Falls experience will continue today by travelling throughout prestigious vineyards to nearby charming Niagara-on-the-Lake a quaint town filled with numerous boutiques, floral displays and restaurants. We will make an enjoyable visit to the renowned award winning Inniskillin Winery before a photo opportunity of the Niagara Falls “Floral Clock”, which is photographed almost as often as Niagara Falls. This evening we will enjoy the very impressive Skylon Revolving Dining Room for a delicious served meal with spectacular view. This will be a delightful way to end our visit in this exciting city.
May 19 – This morning we will travel to St. Jacobs Farmers Market– Always a treat to visit Canada’s Largest outdoor/ indoor market. Something for everyone!! Our journeys will continue East to our night’s accommodations in Gananoque’s Holiday Inn Express 613-382-8338. For those interested you may want to try your luck at the Thousand Island Casino.
May 20 – A beautiful way to begin our day is visiting nearby Rockport and cruise amongst “Millionaire Row” throughout the renowned “Thousands Island” on our double decker boat. Following our informative and
delightful cruise we will continue on to Montreal for sight seeing and visit
Montréal’s “Old Historic District”. Tonight’s accommodations will be in Drummondville at Hotel Universel 819-478-4971.
May 21 – Following a delicious breakfast we will continue on to “Vieux Quebec City” for an informative city tour and have the opportunity to stroll amongst cobblestone streets to numerous quaint shops and boutiques. Departing charming Quebec City we will travel to our night accommodations Quality Inn in Riviere-du-loup 418-867-8221. A great location ideally located across from St. Hebert’s – and a great location for our last group meal! May 22 – Returning home with wonderful memories and new friends on our Canadian Classic Holiday.
