This lovely Spring Holiday has been designed for you to experience Amish
Country Culture and lifestyle in Beautiful Rural PEI.
May 7 – We will depart our homes and travel towards the Eastern Region of PEI to our
nights accommodation at Lanes Riverhouse Inn & Cottages located on the shores of
Montaque River. Upon our arrival in picturesque Montaque we will welcome our most
informative tour guide Tony to introduce us to the Amish culture and meet many from
the Old Order Amish. We will tour throughout beautiful farmlands and visit Amish
families, to witness first class carpentry skills at woodworking shops, visiting such
businesses as steel roofing rolling mill, saw mills and wooden window shops all operated
with no electricity!! Our afternoon will end with a delicious Group Meal before enjoying

May 8 – Following our delicious breakfast we will continue with our Amish Tour Guide
and visit an Amish Bakery; viewing spectacular Quilts and homemade items at a local
Amish General Store. Enjoying a delicious home cooked Amish meal at an Amish home
makes this a most perfect way to end our wonderful Amish experience. With our
wonderful memories of our Amish Dear Friends, we will return home!!
