September 17 – With great anticipation we will begin our most exciting Fall
Holiday-today’s travels will take us to our very comfortable and modern Normandin
Hotel in Levis, Quebec 418-831-3119 upon arrival we will be greeted to a delicious - Group Meal at the nearby Normandin restaurant.
September 18 – Our travels will take us to our nights accommodation located in the
heart of our Nations Capital – Cartier Hotel 613-434-3168. This evening we will enjoy a
leisurely narrated cruise down the Historical Rideau Canal. A perfect way to end our
beautiful September day!
September 19 – Following a delicious breakfast we will travel on the Trans Canada
Highway throughout Northern Ontario to “City of Lakes” – Sudbury – Home of the late
Jeopardy T.V. Host Alex Trebek. Tonight’s accommodation is at Travel Lodge
705-532-1616.
September 20 – Following our breakfast we will visit the worlds largest “Nickel” The
Big Nickel symbols the regions significant nickel mining industry. Before departing
Ontario’s largest Northern City we will tour the amazing Dynamic Earth Science Center.
Canada’s iconic attraction featuring Earth Science and Mining experience A Must Visit.
Following lunch at the impressive “Elements Café” we will journey throughout Ontario’s
rugged country on the shores of the Great Lakes to our three night accommodations in
downtown Sault Saint Marie Quality Inn & Conference Center 705-302-3043 located
near the Gateway Casino and Station Shopping Mall.
September 21 – Today will be an optional day, you may choose to enjoy the comforts of
your city center hotel or join Nancy and travel one hour to catch a ferry to Michigan’s
Mackinac Island! Passports Required. Visitors adore Mackinac Island’s car free roads full
of horse drawn carriages, breathtaking scenery, historical architecture and the Islands
amazing Bavarian Charm. We will enjoy a delightful noon hour lunch buffet at the
renowned Mackinac’s Grand Hotel. Carriage rides has been arranged for us to explore
Mackinac Island in style before returning back to our hotel.
September 22 – Following an early breakfast we will say All Aboard on one of the
most popular train tours in North America! The unforgettable Northern Ontario journey
through the breathtaking Agawa Canyon will leave you breathless.- The Agawa Train
winds its way through one of a kind terrain. To enhance your view, the locomotive
mounted camera provides an engineer’s eye view via T.V monitors throughout the
coaches. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, the train begins its decent in to a canyon.
As the rail lines hugs the canyon, you’ll descend 500 feet to the canyon floor – accessible
only by rail. A thrilling day you won’t want to miss.
September 23 – Today we will begin travelling East – travelling along Canada’s Great
lakes and viewing rugged and picturesque scenery to our nights accommodation located
in Parry Sound Jolly Roger Inn & Resort 705-241-8658.
September 24 – This morning we will begin an exciting day travelling to Waterloo’s
St. Jacobs Market – the largest Farmers Market in Canada – also known for its
Mennonite heritage and authentic rural experience. We will continue driving two hours to
Canada’s Iconic Attraction “Niagara Falls” – Having photo opportunities of the majestic
falls plus being amazed at the numerous tourist attractions and the beautifully manicured
gardens. This evening a delicious meal will be enjoyed at the very impressive Skylon
Dining Room for a perfect panoramic view of the majestic Falls. Tonight’s
accommodation Howard Johnston 800-440-5912, ideally located within walking
distance to Niagara Falls Tourist attractions.
September 25 – – This morning we will enjoy a leisurely Niagara Falls morning, before
departing mid morning to travel East to Gananoque to our comfortable Best Western
Plus 613-382-8338.
September 26 – Our beautiful Fall Day will begin by travelling to nearby Rockport –
located in the Heart of 1000 Islands for a most picturesque relaxing 1000 Islands
cruise. Cruising throughout “Millionaire Row” on our double decker boat is a perfect
way to enjoy our morning – Continuing onward to Montreal for a sight seeing tour
before we travel to our last night accommodation Levis Normandin 418-831-3119. A
great location for our farewell group meal to end our incredible holiday.
September 27 – Returning home from a fantastic holiday with wonderful memories.
