October 5 – We will begin our beautiful Fall Foliage holiday by travelling to our very
popular Masstown Market before continuing on towards the picturesque Peggy’s Cove,
to have the photo opportunity of the most photographed lighthouse in the world – you
may want to have a thrilling experience by walking on Peggy‘s Cove viewing platform.
We will continue onward to our impressive night’s accommodation Oak Island Resort
and Conference Center 800-565-5075, offers sensational views of legendary Oak
Island. A delicious group meal will be enjoyed in their elegant Dining Room
overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
October 6 – Following our morning Breakfast we will visit the Mysterious Oak Island
Interpretive center, before continuing to near by picturesque Mahone Bay – a perfect time
to visit Mahone Bay charming village during their annual Scarecrow festival. I hope you
won’t be scared! We will say farewell to our friendly scarecrows and travel to nearby
Lunenburg for photo opportunities of another picturesque seaside town – Having time to
stroll Lunenburg’s downtown waterfront and to be amazed at the numerous stately
homes. Tonight’s accommodations at Liverpool’s Best Western Plus 902-354-2377. A
Group Meal will be greatly enjoyed Lanes Privateer Restaurant plus always a must to
visit Hank Snow Home Town Museum.
October 7 – We will begin another interesting and breath taking scenic day as we travel
to nearby Shelburne Historical Waterfront before continuing to visit One of Canada’s
best kept secrets! Discover the black loyalist heritage center – This unique historical site
is nestled in beautiful Birchtown Bay on the western shores of Shelburne Harbour, the
third largest natural harbour in the world! Continuing on to Yarmouth – another
picturesque sea side town plus the home Cape Forchu Lighthouse Spectacular and
Unique “Apple Core” lighthouse offering a million dollar panoramic scenic views of
rugged coastline and Natural Beauty.
We will travel to our nights accommodation at the very impressive Digby Pines
Resort 902-245-7724 – beautifully situated overlooking the phenomenal Bay of Fundy.
We will all leisurely enjoy our time at the 4 star signature Resort before our delicious
dinner in the elegant Churchill Dining Room.
October 8 – You will enjoy an amazing Breakfast Buffet before we sail from Digby on
the very attractive and modern MV Fundy Rose! to Saint John.
